The muzak: Sleep All Day - Jason Mraz

"rachel harmony!"
okay, here are the pictures i said i'd put up!
this was during one of the friday's. we were watching the fountain of wealth multimedia show. and making dedications with the laser light messages. really cool!
daniel on nick's shoulder! cute.
from isaku to nick.
our dedications.
we ate at fish and co. rach, jeanne and i got the seafood platter, which was REALLY GOOD. mussels! shrimps! fish! clams! fries! calamari!
we walked to this waterfall thingy near marina square. it was really nice.
me and rach behind the waterfall: don't get it twisted!
so, gong xi fa cai :D tonight, i'm gonna have to go to my relative's house for dinner. not something i really enjoy doing... but they are all family, and ever since aunty betty got cancer, it's hit me pretty hard that i should never take any of them for granted. chapel yesterday was really good. was really encouraged by mike's testimonies. being a christian really isn't supposed to be boring, and it was so cool how you could really see God's love in mike as he spoke. God is so real. and china mission trip is coming up! gotta pray about that. cuz even though i wanna go, i'm still a bit half-hearted. i dunno, if God wants me there, i'll be there!
anyways, a verse that really encouraged me this week.
Jeremiah 17:5-8 Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who depends on flesh for his strength and whose heart turns away from the Lord. He will be like a bush in the wastelands; he will not see prosperity when it comes. He will dwell in the parched places of the desert, in a salt land where no one lives. But blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.
and something aunty grace shared last sunday...
"when you think you're nobody, that's when God wants to use you as a somebody!"
so hope you guys have a good CNY break.

tomorrow morning
hello! it's been a while. school's been very hectic and sometimes i feel like i might go crazy but i've been surviving. this weekend, i thought i was not gonna have a life, but i got to chillax a little today hahaha yay! but i have to get huck finn reading and question-answering done mostly by tomorrow... and hopefully all my art too. so, yes lots have been going on. my life has had its ups and downs ever since i last posted! but in everything, praise God for being with me always. i've got some interesting pictures i wanna post here but that will come later cuz right now i'm sooooo tired. don't know why but i woke up at 8:30 this morning even after partaying til 3:30am last night (not really. but i did sleep at 3:30). we had a bbq at jeanne's house last night which was really really nice. i love her house. jack johnson was playing in the background while we sat at her porch eating bbqed kebab thingies, squid, prawns, salad.. etc. all nick's work. well done! they were deliciousss. and then we ended up watching DRUMLINE which was an interesting movie... hahaha yeah. after that me, rach and jeanne washed the dishes (tons of dirty dishes) so we pretty much entertained ourselves by gettin down on da kitchen floor BOOGIE-ING. that was the most awake i felt all day, and that was around 1 am. anyways! ruth is back from thailand! yay! want to go to sleep now so goodnight!

what if i told you...
good morning. i woke up with a stiff neck so i can't turn right! anyways, watched wallace and gromit yesterday with nathan; it was soooo cute. i had ben and jerry's too. i have yet to discover what the vermonster sundae is. it costs 80 bucks! it has to be good. then we had youth at nick's house. plan was to have pizza and watch a movie. ruth and i reached thomson plaza really early so we spent AGES in video ezy; if you asked me where a specific movie title was, i could almost immediately locate it for you. so after everyone else came, we decided on The Terminal. GREAT MOVIE. i've already watched it a few times but i still like it so much! and then, nick made 5 different types of pizza for us. it was sooooooooo good. beats any kind of pizza i've ever had. heheh you guys are missing out :) well, have to go get ready for worship practice!
some old quotes (hahaha ruth) "it's amazing how when you pull out one kleenex, another one comes out all by itself!" "spinach makes me feel looooooved" "my beautiful mimosa fellings...."
okay, have a good day everyone!

the magic dress
hello HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!! to you and you and you and you
i spent the last bit of the year 2005 playing speed scrabble!! at ruth's house. hahaha ruth's family had the worship team come over to have dinner, which was a lot of fun. so reuben cooked lamb. it was sooo good. good job. my dog's gonna know you now cuz of the bones. then we had burnt caramel ice cream from island creamery... i was so stuffed, i looked pregnant again. ruth actually got a picture this time, even though she took ages trying to take a good one without cracking up. she's obsessed with her new camera! but i don't blame her. it has really cool features. my camera's so bleaugh. hahaha
so, without much further ado, i announce my one and only resolution for the year 2006:
LEARN HOW TO COOK!
okay.. ruth wants to type something
Hello pigeoncootiepowers! Meg needs to pee. Anyway, I can't believe she kept that resolution from me. Even though it isn't quite what I thought it would be. I thought it would be something along the lines of "CHANGE THE WORLD" or something to that deep effect. Isaku needs to put some clothes on. Gosh, nothing in this house is kept private.
Eeeeewwwwwww!!!
Meg is back from her peebreak. We were supposed to eat at Seoul Garden HAHAHA Isaku is FAT!!! Meg and he are discussing his fat and muscles. It is a fine line. Right, so we were supposed to eat there but we, due to emotional and financial reasons, didn't. We had some Japanese porridge thing at home. Home for the first day of 2006 = Meg's home. Oooh, speaking of home, I love my family. They are so cute.
OH! We just watched Raise Your Voice. I can do that very well. But Hilary Duff can't. Har har har har!!! Meg liked that movie. So gross. And my mom's voice is ringing in my ears now: "If you have nothing nice to say - shhh! - say nothing!" Wise words. I think she learned it from some Disney song. I just painted my nails. Not like you care. So bye bye bye!!!!!!!!
!~!!!!@!@$@%!$^!#$^#%^%$*^%*((&)*&)
htuR
it's back to me now! yeah, so raise your voice was a good movie. it was inspiring. it made me want to work harder to achieve my goals just like hilary duff (or terry, in the movie). and also to be a nicer person. i could go on and on, but i don't want to ruin the movie for you if you're planning to watch it.
IF YOU ARE, YOU ARE SICK IN YOUR HEAD. ruth
no! no no no. you're not. if you want to be inspired too, you should watch it.
anyways! i love this stuff
so, i hope all of you have an awesome year this year.
