The muzak: Sleep All Day - Jason Mraz

the 29.371% emo post?

right now there's a black bottle of deodorant staring right at me and it says extremely flammable. its interesting how a device made to help you smell nicer is "extremely flammable."
anyway!
today was a blaaaaaah day. nothing really exciting happened, i wish something exciting did happen but my emo self always tells myself that life isn't always the way you want it to be (not really, i'm not that shitzo). but it would be kinda sucky if life was always how you wanted it to be- which is perfect. but then when you think deeper, if life was perfect, and you referred to that as "sucky," then that would completely defeat the whole meaning of the word "perfect" because the word "sucky" and "perfect" contradicts each other. so if life really was perfect, wouldn't it be NOT sucky? hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
anyway!
today's multimedia presentation was pretty entertaining : ) it made me want to buy myself a video camera and make my own short films! hahahaha that would be so much fun. i could write a bunch of scripts and get people to act them out. so as a teenager, i would have the awesome privilege of being a director or even star in my own films! hahaha :D fun fun fun. but then to burst my own bubble, i have to acknowledge the fact that i don't have the money to buy a video camera, let alone to buy something as measly as a CD (CD's aren't really measly, but pretty measly compared to a flashy hi-tech video camera!) so this brings me back to how life isn't always the way i want it to be.
but its okay! i have my trusty easel (did i spell that right?), paintbrush, and tubs of paint to go to during times like these! i've resoluted myself to start painting and stop neglecting all my artsy tools i've got thanks to the long bus ride home. bus rides make me think. and when i think, i think A LOT. sometimes my thoughts lead to ways i can get suspended from school and then telling myself not to do those things i just thought of. OR quite rarely, i would think of ways the bus i'm on could get into an accident and then i'd subconsciously think of ways to defend myself from the glass that might shatter from the impact of the large truck hitting the window. okay, those were pretty weird thoughts but today i just thought of getting a new hobby! i though it'd be fun to go running through some small road leading to other small roads surrounded by lots of houses. and the good thing about this is that i will get to accomplish two things at once: i'll be able to get my really unfit self to exercise while being able to look at a bunch of pretty houses! the latter sounds much more funner though. i love looking at houses but running isn't really my thing... especially running by myself? i'm trying to picture me being all sweaty and gross with that extremely flammable deodorant in one hand and a water bottle in the other, running down some small winding road. kinda odd. ha! ruth could be my running-while-looking-at-pretty-houses buddy! yes yes, dragging your best friend into your interesting idea of a "hobby" is always fun :D.
other than that, today, i got to handle a toy light saber (which i never thought i'd ever do in my entire life) belonging to none other than daniel sadorra! i spent about a minute or more trying to figure out how to work it. poor daniel had to explain it to me over and over, but its all good cos i eventually got some cool moves down! heh heh heh. (not really)

okay, this part of my post might sound kinda goosebumpy and unmeg-ish but bear with me!
have you ever watched the sky change color? (ha! i told you!)
me and ruth spent like two hours last sunday night sitting or actually, lying down at the roof terrace of the esplanade watching the sky change color from blue to orange to pink and then to umm that weird night color. i don't really know what color to call it since it isn't exactly black or navy blue or purple, so it shall just be night color. yeah, so it was really really cool watching the sky. i almost wanted to strangle myself for not charging my camera batteries which died even before me and ruth's loveleh boat ride to the esplanade! but here's just one picture i got to take during the 5 second resurrection of my camera batteries. (yay!)

hahaha hmmmm well, its not THAT great but that's cuz i don't own the best camera everrrrrrrrrrrrr and my picture taking skills aren't the best everrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

wow this is the longest post i've made in ages! i should post more and then i'll be able to spread out the stuff i wanna say more evenly in shorter posts! yes yes. hahaha
okay dokay, i go now. gooodbye!

wait, before i go....

meg's random short story
(tis actually a true story, quite a tragic one, just very metaphorically written.) (okay its not really, really true, just some parts are. yes yes. sey sey. well... the ending is not true, fortunately.)

once there lived a snail who was in love with bob. (okay kids, this is the fun part! bob can be ANY animal you want him to be! oh ho ho!) her name was.. umm.. suzy. day and night, suzy dreamt and hoped that one day, fate would allow her and bob to meet. sadly, she knew that the chances were very unlikely. many days filled with tears and hopelessness and not meeting bob followed, but suzy never gave up.
but! ONE DAY, as suzy was dreaming about bob at her usual wet and grassy spot, she saw, in the distance, bob walking towards her. this couldn't be!! suzy's heart skipped a beat as she set her gaze towards her handsome and charming love. it was indeed a dream come true! but this moment of hope did not last very long. bob, not seeing suzy beneath his feet, pranced (sorry, this verb just limited your choice of animals) over her and with his salty foot (don't ask) he crushed suzy with all his weight. salt painfully seeped in to suzy's fragile skin and eventually dissolved her whole body into a slime of nothingness.

the end.

sorry the ending just had to be sad! i'll come up with a happier story next time :D hahaha
zai jian!
